PointOne is an intelligent timekeeper. PointOne develops an understanding of each user's preferences as the user releases time entries.

How PointOne learns

PointOne learns every time an entry is released. PointOne learns how to better associate work with matters. PointOne also learns user preferences around narrative descriptions.

Unreleased entries do not teach the system anything. On the flip side, even time entries manually created in PointOne will help PointOne understand how narratives should be written when they are released

Out of the box

PointOne is designed to be useful "out of the box," meaning before any time entries are released. If that isn't the case, please let our team know. That said, many facets of the application, especially narrative description quality, improve over time.

Best practices for giving teaching PointOne

It is important to create and release all of your time entries in the PointOne application. So long as you are doing that, you are doing your part to help PointOne better serve you.
